Is that Hummus … for Dessert?! (Recipe!)

Girls, and pretty much everyone else, love hummus (that according a recent informal poll we conducted with family and friends) but, for the most part, save it for savoury dishes only. However, at a recent Sabra tasting in Vancouver, we learned that this versatile chickpea spread is delectable as a dessert, too! We tried it on toast, topped with banana slices and drizzled with honey (yum!) and then had our minds blown with the following sweet recipe. Try it at home and become a believer! —Vita Daily

Date and Pistachio Topped Hummus

1/4 cup Sabra Classic Hummus
1 tbsp date syrup
1 tbsp chopped pistachios

Scoop Sabra Classic Hummus and swirl onto serving plate. Drizzle date syrup onto hummus. Top with chopped pistachios. Serve with your favourite pita or chips.
