In honour of World Pride and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, a series of protests that took place in New York City and served as a catalyst for the modern LGBTQ+ movement worldwide, Coach has released a short film that celebrates five decades of Pride.
Co-created with the LGBTQ+ community and told through the lens of music, dance and fashion, this short honours the spirit, optimism, resilience and love of the Pride movement, as seen and felt yesterday at Toronto’s parade. As part of the brand’s Dream It Real initiative, an ongoing pledge to support the next generation, a donation has been made to the Hetrick-Martin Institute, a longtime partner of Coach that provides LGBTQ+ youth with a safe, supportive environment to create the future they know is possible.
