Buzzy news from Simons: the retailer’s Park Royal store in West Vancouver, B.C., recently placed beehives on its roof!
Not only will the hive installation—created in collab with Alvéole, a Canadian company that promotes beekeeping in urban environments—aim to increase the local production of honey, to improve pollination in cities, and to make urban dwellers aware of the importance of bees in the ecosystem, Simons will actually sell the honey produced from its hives in all its locations across the country this fall.
