An abundance of virtual classes has become available this past few months. Whether you’re new to the idea of practising at home or not, we’re excited to share the following five free virtual yoga classes and introduce the teachers behind them. One of the nice things about an at-home practice is that you can broaden your horizons with the variety of classes available. yoga for self intimacy with abiola akanni. Abiola is an inspiring teacher we’ve been following for years. This class offers a well-rounded Vinyasa Flow, with some wisdom teaching at the top. Abiola, pictured here, is also founder of Trap Vinyasa, a body positive hip-hop yoga community. Highly recommend.
whole body practice with karen andersen. There’s a great studio in Port Moody, B.C., called Kushala that’s taken its yoga studio online recently. The instruction and quality is great. We love this class by Karen, a technical teacher, who’s really easy to follow. Find more in Kushala’s online library of classes.
well-rounded hatha class with rachel scott. We’ve come back to this free YouTube class a few times, and love it. A B.C.-fave teacher, Rachel has great energy and gives detailed cues. This class will leave you feeling spacious. Find more of Rachel’s classes here.

flow yoga with adriene. For when you need a quick 20-minute flow series, this class by Yoga with Adriene is just the ticket. She’s a very accessible teacher, best known for her Yoga Party series.
