As we prepare for the season, a new collaboration between The Glenlivet and DAVIDsTEA is seeing the classic Hot Toddy reimagined as the Pumpkin Hot Toddy, pairing The Glenlivet 12-Year-Old and DAVIDsTEA’s Pumpkin Crème Brûlée tea blend. Together, this new cocktail is rich, cosy and perfect to enjoy all winter long—especially by the fireplace. —Vita Daily
Pumpkin Hot Toddy
1 sachet of Pumpkin Crème Brulee
¾ cup Hot Water
¼ tsp of Maple Syrup (or Brown Sugar)
1 oz. The Glenlivet 12 Year Old
6 oz. Pumpkin Crème Brulee Concentrate
Orange Slice and Rind
2 dashes of Orange Bitters (optional)
1 dash of Cinnamon Powder (or Cinnamon Stick)
In a DAVIDsTEA Double Walled Glass Cup, steep one sachet of DAVIDsTEA Pumpkin Crème Brûlée in ¾ cup of hot water for over five minutes. Remove sachet and stir in ¼ tsp of maple syrup. Pour 1 oz. of The Glenlivet 12-Year-Old, then add 1 slice of orange and 2 dashes of orange bitters. Garnish with orange rind and a dash of cinnamon powder or cinnamon stick and enjoy.
