With megastars like Rihanna entering Sephora shelves with an impressive shade range, Fenty Beauty set a precedent for other brands to not only perform well, but aim for inclusiveness from the launch. Although some people may find the abundance of new celebrity beauty brands overwhelming, we love the opportunity to get insight into our fave celeb and their style through their branding and brand offerings. Here are some of our fave newest celeb launches. —Vicki Duong

humanrace. Accessibility and inclusivity has always been at the core of Pharrell William’s ethos for his brand Humanrace. With a simple approach to skincare, the brand consists of very few products in refillable packaging with braille-printed on the labels for easy deciphering for those hard of sight. We love the Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator ($58), a gentle cleaner that is activated with water to remove dead skin cells without stripping the natural moisture barrier.

gxve. When it comes to the quintessential 90’s red lip, few celebrities have as strong of a chokehold on the look than Gwen Stefani. It was only a matter of time before the platinum bombshell launched her own beauty line that includes three different finishes of a bold crimson lip; matte, satin and a long-wearing liquid formula. Not into reds? Fret not, Gwen has you covered with hues of berry and classic nudes.

keys soulcare. Alicia Keys made headlines when she announced she would be wearing little to makeup, even on magazine covers and television appearances, opting for a natural skin look so it’s no surprise that her line, Keys Soulcare, focuses on healthy skin to empower their users to feel confident about the skin they’re in. With brightening cleansers and nourishing creams, Keys Soulcare offers a variety of offerings for every skintype. Not sure where to start? The Skin + Soul Starter Set ($105) offers four deluxe trail sizes of a few of their best sellers.

half magic. When you think of HBO’s hit show Euphoria, images of bold makeup with sparkling face gems may come to mind. That’s due to the vision of head MUA, Donni Davy who recently launched her own beauty line, Half Magic. Inspired by showcasing your personality and creativity, the collection features face decals, shimmers and glitters that will have you feeling yourself in no time, regardless of if you’re #TeamMaddy or #TeamCassie.

jvn hair. Our fave Queer Eye (don’t tell Antoni) is not only a hair guru extordinaire but a hair care brand owner. The eponymous haircare line, JVN Hair, has quickly become a Sephora fave with their certified clean status and highly effective formulas. One of our faves is the Complete Instant Recovery Heat Protectant Leave-In Serum ($36), an intensive leave-in treatment that repairs your tresses while leaving a silky finish. As JVN would say, “ can you believe?”

about face. Lowering prices is unheard of in the beauty industry, but that is what Halsey’s About Face did earlier this year. Acknowledging the mark-up on the products and how it led to the inaccessibility for some beauty lovers, About Face dropped the prices by up to 50% across the board. Our must haves from the budget-friendly line is their Light Lock Highlight Fluid ($18) a boldly pigmented highlighter that delivers intense shimmer.

rose inc. With the clean makeup look (think no-makeup makeup) trending on Tik Tok, we’re also browsing for the latest and greatest in naturally looking makeup. Model Rosie Huntington- Whitely is the blueprint when it comes to natural beauty and her line, Rose Inc helps you achieve that look naturally. With a collection that combines skincare with cosmetics ranging from a skin tint serum ($65) to a moisturising bronzer ($47) there’s no doubt that Rosie knows effortless glam.

rem beauty. While she may not have invented the cat-eye or high ponytail, Ariana Grande knows a thing or two about creating a signature look. The powerhouse singer has also added makeup brand founder to her impressive resume with r.e.m. beauty, a cruelty free brand that includes cosmetics and skincare products. Our top pick from the brand is their At The Borderline Eyeliner Marker ($28), an intensely pigmented black liner with an ultra-fine tip for perfect application.

auric. While she may not be a Hollywood A-lister, Samantha Ravndahl has a strong following loyal to her recommendations and reviews. With over two million followers on Instagram, this YouTuber has turned her love of beauty reviews into creating innovative beauty products to fill in the gaps in her own collection. One of our personal faves from the collection is the Glow Lust Radiant Luminizer ($45 USD), a unique product that can be worn on its own, underneath or over top of complexion products for a natural lit-from-within glow.

haus labs. Not all celebrity brands are a hit right out of the gate. Lady Gaga’s line, originally launched as Haus Laboratories and only available through their site, struggled to find its footing initially but if there is one thing the Mother Monster knows it’s that there is no such thing as failure, only learning opportunities. With a fresh rebrand and a shortened name, Haus Labs is now available through Sephora with clean artistry in mind. Our eye is currently on the Hy-Power Pigment Paint ($31), a multi-use eye cheek and lip formula available in shimmery and matte finishes.
