Vancouver’s Trattoria Kitslano will be hosting their famous Meatball Eating Competition at this year’s Khatsahlano Festival on Saturday, July 9, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., while West Van’s Trattoria Park Royal will be hosting a second comp on July 15, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Both will be comprised of three heats to see who can eat the most meatballs in two minutes; the winner from each heat will advance to the final round to vie for the Trattoria Meatball Eating Champion title, a.k.a., a Glowbal Group Meat Ball Card entitling the bearer to a year’s worth of united Spaghetti and Meatballs.
