Bang & Olufsen has announced a limited collaboration with famed producer Swizz Beatz, fine artist Ferrari Sheppard and vinyl pioneer 12on12, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the brand’s iconic Beoplay A9: the brand’s unique circular speaker that has long been an icon in sound technology and high-end design.
Legendary Grammy winner Beatz is a longtime collector of both Sheppard and Bang & Olufsen, and hand-selected one of Sheppard’s most celebrated artworks, My Name is Sarah, as a custom cover on a limited run of 40 Beoplay A9 speakers and a re-launched capsule collection of Beatz’s curated 12on12 vinyl record, Long Live Jazz. The 40 limited-edition Beoplay A9 speakers ($4,999) will be available in select Bang & Olufsen showrooms.
