Spring is in the air officially and we could not be more thrilled. From longer days, to lighter fabrics, we’re ready to make the transition to warmer weather. One of our favourite rituals for spring is changing up our fragrances, opting for lighter and fresh scents. Below are some of our go-to’s featuring the newest scents for 2023. –Vicki Duong
lohn. Transport yourself to a tropical location with Lohn’s newest Resort collection. The limited edition scents are handmade in Toronto and housed in a reusable glass vessel. Our favourite scent is Sun ($44), a rich blend of blood orange and pomelo, combined with verbena’s green grass and ylang ylang’s romantic florals. It really is the next best thing to jetsetting to a beach.
marc jacobs. The Marc Jacobs fragrance line, Daisy, is a constant fave in our rotation and they recently added to the collection with Paradise ($114), a limited edition version. With a blend of fresh iris, grounded patchouli and sweet sorbetto leaves a warm and rich scent on your skin, plus the bright pink and purple bottle with floral details adds the look of bouquets to any shelf.
aerin. What says springtime better than the scent of sweet roses? With an entire collection of Rose Premier fragrances, Aerin seems to be the authority on all things rosy. This season our favourite scent is Joyful Bloom ($265), a youthful rose-dominated blend with a mix of sparkling bergamot and warm sandalwood.
calvin klein. The Calvin Klein Euphoria has been a long-standing staple in our fragrance rotation, but their newest offering may be our favourite yet. CK invites you to experience a new olfactive interpretation of their iconic fragrance with eau de toilette ($124) a sweet and fruity gourmand with sparkling plum and vanilla. Plus the familiar bottle is updated with a clear glass to show the bright pink potion inside.
estee lauder. Expanding their scope in the beauty world, Estée Lauder has recently introduced a new luxury fragrance collection boasting beautiful fluted glass bottles housing modern scents designed to last up to 12 hours. Our spring go-to has been Oasis Dawn ($240) formulated to evoke comfort and relaxation with a dark and rich floral.
