We’re Reliving Last Year’s Modern Day Wife Holiday Event In Photos

Vancouver-founded company, The Modern Day Wife, in partnership with VITA, W North, Folio YVR, Ecoluxlifestyle.co and Vancouver Moms, ended 2023 with all the glitz and glam of their Modern Holiday Event at the Paradox Hotel in Vancouver, Canada. Modern Day Wife Founder Meagan Ayres-Elieff and Co-Founder Meghan Fialkoff welcomed over 600 guests as the ballrooms filled with energy and excitement for the evening ahead. Attendees flocked to beauty activations sponsored by Emme Hair and Bully Blocker where professional hair and makeup artists enhanced the beauty glow of all those who popped by. Meanwhile, the halls flooded with vendors offering everything from the latest in fashion, wellness, and health services. Guests were encouraged to add their “wish” to the 2024 Wishing Wall and take photos with Golden Hour Photobooth. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with other event goers as Instagram handles were being exchanged left and right.

Attendees headed to the main ballroom to grab a drink from the bar and to grab a front row seat to the panel portion of the evening. The night kicked off with Emcee Brittany Michalchuck hosting a fireside chat with Dr. Robert Morell, Dr. Joshua Song, and Angel Dragomir of Medical Rejuvenation Centre, the title sponsor of the event.The evening followed with power panelists covering topics in Fashion and Lifestyle, (Panelists: Kim Olusanya, Founder of Le’Antoinette; Alexis Coughlan owner of Bronzed & Bare studio, Michelle Petrovic founder of Nori Athletics, Kendria Godair founder of Dria Dair, and Donna Brittingham, Founder of Bully Blocker) Beauty and Wellness (Panelists: MELODIE REYNOLDS, Founder of Elate Cosmetics, AERYON ASHLIE, Founder and CEO of Aeryon Wellness, VERONICA GOMES, Founder of Emme Hair, CAITLYN VANDERHAEGHE, CEO of KidStar Nutrients® and Enisa Hot, Co Founder of CleanFace) and Business and Entrepreneurship (Panelists: Hannah Bowerbank, Founder of WH Interior Styling, Nazanin Dian, Founder of Enya Mond, Kyla Richey, Founder of Valley Commons and Pamela Nahal, Owner of Mohani Event Design). The thought-provoking answers from each of the panelists, left the audience feeling inspired and excited about ending 2023 and looking forward to the 2024 new year.

The fashion show that followed served as a key focal point of the evening. A performance by Karla Sax kicked off the show which highlighted Canadian local brands Turnabout Luxury Resale, Diane’s Lingerie, Maska Mode, SuGolden Design, Fayah Athletics, and Ahblo Knitwear. Joining from the states included MDW fashion show vets Le Antoinette and Dria Dair. Models strutted the runway in the latest showstopping pieces, leaving the audience in awe of the brands featured.

Just when attendees thought the night couldn’t get any better, the celebrity panel took place ending the night on a high note. The celebrity panel included: Star of The Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars, Founder of Spade and Sparrows Kaitlynn Bristowe, Founder & Health Coach, Raw Beauty Co. Erin Treloar, Founder of Dib Fit Cycle Daniela Dib, and Star of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise Mykenna Dorn.

To close out the evening, VIP guests were gifted swag bags to take home which included items from Nellie’s Clean, Cheekbone Beauty, Jena Tang, and Three Ships Beauty to name a few.
