The world of gourmet dining meets everyday indulgence with COPS Donuts. The iconic global donut maker is concluding their Yes Chef Series Vol 001, Toronto, in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Patrick Kriss’ restaurant, Alder, located inside Ace Hotel Toronto. To kick off this sweet partnership, COPS has released the Coconut Cream Glaze Donut with Coconut Meringue Crumble.
“The coconut cream pie has been our renowned dessert since Alder opened and was even named one of the Michelin Guide inspector’s top seven dishes in Toronto so basing a glaze on this dessert was a must. Consisting of a velvety coconut cream blend, this glaze is topped with a sweet meringue crumble and toasted coconut for an added crunch,” according to the Alder team.
Available now through March 17, COPS will pulse out new flavours inspired by the gastronomic traditions and techniques reflected in the Alder menu. Over the next four weeks, COPS will be randomly selecting three 5-0 orders to award brunch for two at Alder, and one exclusive package for brunch along with a one-night stay at Ace Hotel Toronto.
