Your home is a whimsical dream—where do you find inspiration for your colorful aesthetic?

I find inspiration in everyday things around me from flowers, signage, stickers, collages, prints, different shops around the city, other creators i follow on IG, colors i combine when candle making & naturally the OG never ending source of inspiration ❤️pinterest❤️!

You have over 100 plants—what’s your best tip for keeping them thriving?

Leaves don’t lie! You can get so much information from what a plant needs by what’s going on in the leaves. A big droop/drop is happening, it probably needs water, leaves are turning yellow, you may be over watering, weird discoloring/browning, you might have thrips(nightmare). I think when people are starting out, plant care is really intimidating and we tend to overthink it. Once you get into the routine, it becomes second nature & your babies will thrive.

P.S: you’re not the worst plant parent if one dies, it’s bound to happen, it’s how we learn and grow. The beautiful thing that plants have taught me is that with new beginnings, growth will follow❤️.

Vintage and DIY are a big part of your brand—what’s been your favorite thrift or DIY find?

A: Hands down my disco ball gum-ball machine! I found a large vintage one at the Aberfoyle market just outside of Guelph. It came in the classic gum-ball machine red, but naturally I had to paint in pink. I filled it with over 200 disco balls & it lives in all her glory in our living room. It’s the best greeting in the morning walking into the living room with tiny reflective lights dancing around.

How do you balance personal style with sustainability when it comes to fashion and beauty?

At this point I would say that 95% of my closet is either thrifted or bought from a vintage shop/small business that ethically sources all their pieces. How cool is it to have a wardrobe filled with one of a kind pieces that have lived another life at some point. Turning the old into new and putting your own spin on it. A big love of mine is always going to the lingerie/pj section, finding vintage pieces that were meant to be worn inside/to bed and incorporating them into my everyday fits; fashion has no rules. The hard thing about working in the world of content creating is I don’t have many links to swipe up on when it comes to my wardrobe. My hopes are to inspire others to source those special pieces themselves and continue to support small when they can ❤️!

If you could create a signature beauty product, what would it be?

EASILY a whimsical very Luna eye shadow pallet along with lip glosses in my favorite shades. The eye shadow pallet would be in the shape of a vintage cake, the shades would be in the most perfect pastels & the top row would be iridescent glitters to add a little sparkle into your life. The lip glosses could act as a type of frosting to go along with your cake pallet(someone please bring this to life with me🥲🍰)!
