This spring, the Fraser Valley’s best-kept secret is ready for its spotlight. From April 11 to 27, Dine Chilliwack returns with a flavour-packed two-week celebration that’s putting the region’s thriving food scene on full display. Orchestrated by Tourism Ch’illiwack, the event invites both locals and curious visitors to explore the city through its most delicious offerings—with prix-fixe menus, two-for-one dining experiences, and curated culinary tours across some of Chilliwack’s most beloved restaurants, breweries, and food-forward destinations.

Set against the backdrop of the blooming valley, Dine Chilliwack is more than just a collection of great meal deals. It’s a love letter to local food culture, small business innovation, and the incredible chefs, artisans, and entrepreneurs who continue to shape the region’s evolving identity through cuisine.

At the heart of the event is a community-wide effort to connect food lovers with makers. Participating restaurants are showcasing exclusive seasonal menus and inventive dishes designed specifically for the Dine Chilliwack celebration. At Fortitude Wine Bar, guests can enjoy a thoughtfully composed three-course experience featuring fresh spring-forward fare like mojito tabouli, pesto “springhettini,” and roasted peaches—all for just $45 per person. Over at Farmhouse Brewing Co., it’s pizza and pints done right with a $55 two-can-dine deal, including a sharable charcuterie platter and a return visit voucher for more of their house-crafted brews.

Meanwhile, The Lakeside Beach Club in Cultus Lake is offering an elevated lakeside dining experience with dishes like pan-seared Fraser Valley duck breast, 12-hour braised short rib, and pumpkin sage cannelloni, all paired with playful signature cocktails like the tableside smoked whiskey and lavender sour. At Hugo’s Mexican Kitchen, taco flights, churro bites, and classic margaritas keep things casual and vibrant, with guests able to choose from five of the restaurant’s signature street tacos for just $25—and add a margarita for a single dollar more.

From heritage-inspired comfort food to plant-based innovation, the full list of participating eateries reads like a crash course in Chilliwack’s rich culinary tapestry. It includes everything from beloved neighbourhood staples like Kelly O’Bryan’s and Duke’s Country Pub to rising stars like Elevated Pizza, Bravo Restaurant & Lounge, and South Sumas Bistro. New additions are joining the lineup daily, making it worth checking back often as the list evolves.

What sets Dine Chilliwack apart from other dining festivals is the immersive experience it offers. In addition to the restaurant offerings, visitors are encouraged to take part in the “Spring into Chilliwack” passport program, where collecting stamps from three participating locations can be redeemed for two-for-one tickets to local springtime experiences like Greendale Acres’ Sweet Spring Festival or the Botanica Tulip Festival. It’s a celebration of taste and place—food and flowers all in one.

Those wanting to go deeper can opt into “Chew On This Tasty Tours,” a curated food tour running Wednesdays through Sundays in the District 1881 neighbourhood. This intimate experience brings guests behind the scenes of some of Chilliwack’s most cherished spots, including an artisan coffee tasting at Smoking Gun Coffee Roasters, hands-on gelato crafting at Azzurri Pasticceria, and wine and appetizer pairings at Fortitude Wine Bar. Additional sweet and savoury bites from local vendors round out the journey. Guests who book their tour by March 31 will also receive a complimentary gift card to support their favourite local food business—because every bite makes an impact.

To encourage visitors to make a weekend (or week) of it, Tourism Ch’illiwack has also teamed up with local accommodations for special stay-and-play offers. Hotels including the Coast Chilliwack by APA, Hotel Morado, and the Holiday Inn Express are offering reduced rates, complimentary festival passes, and more for those booking during the Dine Chilliwack window. It’s an ideal excuse to slow down, dig in, and discover what makes Chilliwack such a special place to visit—and even more rewarding to taste.

At its core, Dine Chilliwack is a powerful reminder that great food doesn’t have to come from far away. Sometimes, the most exciting culinary adventures are the ones waiting just around the corner. And this spring, Chilliwack is inviting everyone to the table.
