Leave it to H&M to throw one of the hottest fashion-meets-music events of the season. Last night in Los Angeles, the global brand pulled out all the stops with the H&M&LA Festival — a vibrant celebration of its Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Headlined by music icons Doechii, Robyn, and Jamie xx, and featuring sets by PinkPantheress, SAILORR, and more, the night turned into a runway of music, style, and pure LA energy.
The crowd? Equally iconic. The guest list was a who’s who of fashion-forward celebs and It-girls, including Dakota Fanning, Riley Keough, Barbie Ferreria, Chase Stokes, Dixie D’Amelio, Tinashe, Laufey, Amelia Gray, Alex Consani, Maddie Ziegler, and Amelia Dimoldenberg — all decked out in looks from H&M’s breezy, bohemian S/S 2025 collection.
“Last night was really special. The energy was just right, the vibe was EVERYTHING,” said Doechii, summing up the collective feeling in the air.
Held as an homage to the creative pulse of Los Angeles — from its fashion and film to its food and iconic music culture — the event delivered big on both spectacle and substance. Food truck favourites like In-N-Out, Pink’s Hot Dogs, and Kogi BBQ Tacos kept the crowd fuelled as they danced their way between stages and immersive digital installations.
From festival-ready sheer layers to vintage glam-rock flourishes, the new H&M collection looked right at home against the cinematic, neon-lit backdrop. The second chapter of this dreamy drop captures the romance of festival season style while drawing inspiration from rock legends and musical eras past — think romantic sheers, metallic accents, and eclectic layering, all styled with that effortlessly cool LA twist.
“This one-of-a-kind festival is a celebration of fashion, music, joy, and community — the heart of what H&M is all about,” said Jörgen Andersson, Chief Creative Officer at H&M.
And in true H&M spirit, the party wasn’t just for the elite. Fans scored access through social media sign-ups, keeping the brand’s mission of open-access fashion and culture front and centre — a tradition it started with global events in Times Square, London, Paris, and Stockholm.
From the star power on stage to the trendsetting looks in the crowd, H&M&LA wasn’t just a fashion moment — it was a full-on style movement. Consider your summer wardrobe inspiration sorted. —Vita Daily
