There’s something wonderfully retro about the Avon Nostalgia Sweet Berry & Jasmine Bar Soap Boxed Set. The brand has been re-releasing iconic products, and they’re just as charming as you’d expect. This trio of oval soaps, wrapped in floral Art Nouveau-style paper, is scented with berry and jasmine—evoking serious grandma vibes we adore. Gentle enough for body and face.
L’Occitane En Provence Cocon de Sérénité Relaxing Body Soap looks almost too pretty to unwrap—but trust us, you’ll want to. The creamy lather, infused with mandarin, bergamot, sweet orange, and geranium essential oils, smells as elegant as the French packaging looks.
The Claus Porto brand has been around since 1887, and for good reason. These Portuguese soaps are fabulous. Each scent comes wrapped in candy-coloured packaging that’s irresistible, especially in curated sets. No gift wrap required.
Sometimes, a classic is best. Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon Shea Butter Cleansing Bar delivers a fresh, springtime scent in a shea butter and coconut oil base, wrapped in recycled paper. Simple, satisfying, and subtly nostalgic.
Maître Savonitto Exfoliating Violet Soap is a hidden gem. Made in Provence at Atelier du Savon in Haut Var, this violet-scented, almond oil-enriched round bar comes in a tiny wooden box you’ll want to keep long after the soap is gone.
Once dismissed as grandma’s go-to, Yardley London English Rose Soap is back in fashion. Delicately scented, this boxed trio also comes in Lily of the Valley and English Lavender. British heritage meets everyday charm.
The Lucia Guest Soap Gift Box includes eight individually wrapped bars with intriguing fragrance blends like cherry tomato and basil, pomegranate and red currant, wild ginger and fresh fig. Perfect for guest bathrooms—or as a fragrant indulgence for yourself.
Lastly, Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Magic Bar Soap is as energizing as it is ethical. With organic, fair-trade ingredients and no detergents, dyes, or foaming agents, this minty bar is a refreshing wake-up call in the morning shower.

Nice article – I’m obsessed with bar soaps lately! They feel so nostalgic yet luxurious. Funny story: I dialed the Bath And Body Works phone number yesterday to ask about their exfoliating bars (big fan of the oatmeal one!). You know what trick to use with soap? Let your soap dry completely between uses to avoid wasting it. The charcoal soap here sounds like a must-try for summer!
