What if a beauty product could do more than boost your glow—it could change lives? This fall, Watier Cosmetics and the Lise Watier Foundation are proving it can. For every purchase of the bestselling Love My Lips Caring Lip Oil in August and September, $5 goes directly to the Lise Watier Foundation, helping women across Canada build pathways to financial independence .
For Watier, this is more than a corporate campaign; it’s a continuation of the legacy of brand founder Lise Watier, who always believed that beauty should be a vehicle for confidence and empowerment. “Watier Cosmetics has been a major partner of the Lise Watier Foundation since the beginning,” says Marie-Krystine Morin, Director of Watier Marketing. “This cause is at the very core of our brand values and DNA. We believe that when women have the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential, families are strengthened, communities flourish, and the economy grows”.
Beyond Beauty: Why Confidence Matters
A recent Watier survey found that 94 per cent of Canadian women believe confidence in their appearance positively impacts their lives, while 90 per cent agree that financial independence is essential to empowerment . This campaign bridges both. “At Watier, we want every consumer to instantly recognize the positive impact their purchase makes,” says Morin. “Since 2017, we’ve contributed more than $1.1 million to the Foundation, and this initiative is another way to give back. It’s about breaking barriers, opening doors, and creating lasting change”.
To make the campaign even more special, Watier launched a new limited-edition shade of its Love My Lips Lip Oil: Crème de bleuet, a lilac-toned gloss enriched with hyaluronic acid and Tsubaki oil. “Its colour represents women’s confidence and boldness,” Morin explains. “It’s more than a beauty product—it’s a reminder that this purchase supports Canadian women”.
Supporting Women, Changing Futures
For the Lise Watier Foundation, these contributions directly fuel its flagship Let’s Start Up Pathway, which provides women with training, personalized coaching, financial assistance, and access to a powerful network. “In the last year alone, we’ve supported 386 Canadian women,” shares Marie-Lise Andrade, President and Co-Founder of the Lise Watier Foundation. “That includes 252 women who earned a diploma, 41 who launched new businesses, and over $213,000 awarded in scholarships”.
She adds, “Partnerships like this one with Watier enable us to expand our reach and impact more lives. Together, we’re creating pathways for women to take back their power—financially, personally, and professionally” .
One such story is Gabriela’s, a single mother of three who immigrated to Quebec from Mexico. With no network or French skills, she struggled to find direction until she discovered the Let’s Start Up Pathway. “Through the program, Gabriela uncovered her passion for physiotherapy, applied to Dawson College, and was accepted,” says Andrade. “We offered her full financial support so she could focus entirely on her studies. Today she has her diploma and dreams of opening her own Pilates and massage therapy school. Stories like hers remind us that reinvention is possible at any age”.
A Call to Action
At its heart, this collaboration is about reimagining empowerment. “True financial independence means having the skills, knowledge, and confidence to shape your life without constraints,” Andrade says. “It’s about choices guided by ambition, not necessity”.
For consumers, it’s an easy way to take part in that mission. “Every lip oil purchase is an act of solidarity,” says Morin. “And when customers see the real stories of women who’ve transformed their lives through the Foundation, we hope they’ll be inspired to take action in their own communities as well”.
The Watier x Lise Watier Foundation initiative runs from August 28 through late September, available at Watier.com, Shoppers Drug Mart, and major retailers across Quebec .
