Finding Vancouver’s 5 Most-Stylish Coffee Shops With Mazda

October 6, 2025

Travel & Culture

Vancouver has some pretty serious game when it comes to coffee shops, with a little something for everyone: we have classic French-inspired places, modern “third wave” spots, and even a trendy fashion café or two. We recently hopped behind the wheel of a spacious Mazda CX-70 to hit up some of our faves in the downtown core and beyond. The stylish SUV was the perfect vehicle to cruise around the Lower Mainland being both a smooth and comfortable ride while also offering plenty of space and a solid sound system. From exquisite quality to beautiful latte art, beautifully designed spaces and beyond, here’s a round-up of the spots we hit on our own Mazda Coffee Tour. Cassie Gill

Marche Mon Pitou

A Parisian escape in South Granville. Marche Mon Pitou has become a darling of Vancouver’s café scene thanks it’s chic Ralph Lauren inspired aesthetic. We love popping in for a hot drink and pastry: of all the places on this list, Mon Pitou does their hot chocolate and mocha exceptionally well, but we’re also fans of their rotating seasonal lattes (we hear a cardamom is being added for fall). Keep your eyes peeled for the their own in-house items to use at home, including a soon-to-be-released tea line.

Cowdog Coffee

When it comes to quality coffee and matcha, no one is doing it better than Joe and the team at Cowdog Coffee. Their intimate take-out only Oak Street café and newly opened Kits outpost serves up espresso with a lot of milk (a latte) or a little milk – but the signature drink is definitely the signature spiced cookie butter latte. For a flavoured option, it’s not too sweet but still enough of a treat to feel indulgent. We particularly like how the team serves their for-here drinks in orange glass cups, keeping with their own brand theme. For the matcha lovers, Cowdog might be the best in the city – particularly the viral frozen option.

Aritzia’s A-OK Cafe

Fashion cafés are definitely having their moment in the spotlight, and Aritzia hasn’t just gotten in on the action – they’re practically owning the game in Canada. The Vancouver-based company launched their first A-OK Café in B.C. with an outpost at their Guildford Centre flagship in Surrey, and it’s worth the commute even if you aren’t in the ‘burbs. The stylish café sits in the center or the boutique – now the biggest in the country – serving up coffee, matcha, pastries and soft-serve ice cream. Our go to is the simple vanilla latte but we can attest all the coffee drinks here are solid.

Thierry

Thierry on Alberni has been getting the café game right since they opened in 2011. The chocolate and pastry-focused shop offers a lot more than just espresso-based drinks, but the pistachio latte is a fan favourite for a reason. The beverage feels like a graduated, much higher-end version of some Starbucks classics but way less sweet and far more sophisticated. Theirry is also known for their macarons (the maple is a more unique Canadian-themed offering) and their impressive viennoiseries selection.

Revolver

Few coffee spots in Vancouver give cool girl energy quite like Revolver right down to the black and white cups. The Gastown hangout has been frequented by a few celebs, including Riverdale star Cole Sprouse. This place is for the more serious coffee consumers – think pour overs and espresso tasting flights. The usual cappuccinos, lattes and macchiatos can also be found on the menu, but you’ll be on your own to add any sweetener.
