We love when great Canadian style minds meet, and that’s exactly what’s happening with bridal brand & For Love and WREN Boutique. Beginning on February 14th, the stylish Metro Vancouver retailer, located on beautiful Bowen Island, is playing host to a month long & For Love residency.
WREN Boutique is a loved for its thoughtfully curated shopping experience highlighting Canadian brands which makes this collab a perfect pairing. “A focus on Canada was something I really wanted in a host for our first pop-up experience,” shares Angel Spendlove, co-founder and creative director of & For Love. “Stepping away from the traditional bridal store setting is a very modern shopping experience. It’s not as overwhelming and offers an incredibly personal moment for brides to shop. It also means we as a brand are in touch with how women dress and express themselves every day.”
A main character of the & For Love residency at WREN Boutique will be dresses from The Lovers Part II collection which launched in Paris last November. That collection leans heavily into romantic silhouettes and details like bows, statement lace, corsetry and balloon hemlines. A standout piece we love: the romantic pink Antoinette dress which offers a stunning alternative to bridal white. There will also be an edited selection of dresses on site from & For Love’s core collection of gowns.
“The calmness WREN Boutique’s location on Bowen Island delivers a tranquil vibe as you are away from the bustle and noise of the city,” Spendlove says. “This environment naturally supports a more fluid and intentional way of connecting with brides.”
Appointments run through March 8th with bookings available weekly Wednesday through Sunday (bookings can be made here). The & For Love design team will be on site for select appointments to share styling tips and to help brides-to-be find their perfect wedding style. —Alison McGill
