Love is in the air, and boy, does it smell oh-so-sweet. Whether you are drawn towards petal-forward florals or prefer something sweeter this Valentine’s Day, set the mood with the perfect fragrance. Aēsop Aurner eau de parfum ($260). Consider this the anti-predictable floral. Aurner opens with green spice before unfolding into crisp magnolia leaf, layered with a touch of herbaceousness and a warm cedar heart. Perfect for anyone who likes their Valentine’s scent a little less obvious and a lot more interesting.
Yves Rocher Bouquet Ambré eau de parfum ($69.95). If you’re drawn to warm florals with a little glow, this amber-forward pick from Yves Rocher is worth a spritz. It opens bright with orange, then softens into iris and incense, all warmed through by an amber base that adds instant coziness. The French brand, founded in 1959 and known for its botanical roots, leans into nature here in a way that feels polished and approachable.
Burberry Her parfum with cherry ($246). Think of this as the after-dark evolution of the original. Burberry Her Parfum opens with juicy dark cherry, giving it an instantly approachable sweetness, before warming into amber and vanilla. The result is fruity yet grounded, bold but wearable. Fronted by Olivia Dean, whose modern love songs capture romance with confidence, the campaign feels especially fitting.
The Makers Alias eau de parfum ($236). The newest fragrance from The Maker channels the moody glamour of The Maker Hotel. Alias layers warm freesia and orchid over creamy rice milk, with a hint of cardamom and clove for soft spice. The refillable bottle, inspired by an antique ink flask and crafted with recycled materials, it feels like checking in under a different name for the night.
Henry Rose London 1983 eau de parfum ($165). Not every Valentine’s scent has to be roses and sugar. Sometimes, nostalgia is the most romantic note of all. Henry Rose’s first-ever musk, is inspired by a fragrance Michelle Pfeiffer once discovered in 1980s London and wore to the last drop. Think: a modern musk that feels airy yet warm, cool yet quietly intimate.
NEST New York Watermelon Peony perfume oil ($148). For anyone craving something light and fresh, this juicy floral from NEST New York delivers. Watermelon and nashi pear open bright and crisp, peony adds a bloom, and a hint of lemon keeps it sparkling. The long-lasting perfume oil format makes it easy to layer or reapply on the go. It’s ideal for budding romance or anyone ready to step into the season with something a little brighter.
Kylie Cosmetics Cosmic Intense eau de parfum ($130). If subtle isn’t your thing, Kylie Jenner’s Cosmic Intense is ready for its close-up. The reality mogul and beauty founder leans fully into her love of vanilla here, dialling it up with rich amber and decadent benzoin for a scent that’s creamier, deeper, and just a little extra. Confident, sweet, and impossible to ignore, it’s very Kylie.

I especially love how these fragrances mix elegance with personality. Definitely going to try one of these for Valentine’s. Also grabbed a fresh cut at barber before gifting – feeling fresh and ready.
