History is being made on the mountain! For the first time in its 73-year operation, Mt. Baker Ski Area is flipping on the switch for a legendary weekend of night skiing. Mark your calendars for Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14, 2026, when the slopes will stay lit long after the sun goes down.
The Nighttime Lineup
From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., skiers and boarders can shred under the stars (or the clouds!) as Chair 7 lights up for the evening. If you’re looking to hit the rails, the White Salmon Handle Tow will also offer extended hours from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., complete with a small rail set-up for those evening park sessions.
- Friday Night Race: Keep an eye out for details and registration if you’re looking to add a little competition to your midnight maneuvers.
- The Après Vibe: The White Salmon Day Lodge will stay open until 8:30 p.m., serving up its full menu and drinks to keep you fueled and warm between runs.
- Gear & Retail: Both rentals and retail at White Salmon will remain open through the end of the event at 8:30 p.m..
Access and Tickets
The best part? Night skiing and extended handle tow hours are included with any valid 2025-26 Mt. Baker season pass or daily lift ticket (including All Day, Afternoon, and even 5th Grade Free tickets).
For those arriving just for the evening festivities, special Twilight Tickets will be available exclusively on March 13 and 14:
- Adults (16-69): $63.54
- Youth (11-15): $52.91
- Child (7-10): $33.27
- Super Senior (70+): $52.22 (Note: Twilight sales start at 3:15 p.m. and prices do not include tax).
Make it a Staycation
Want to cap off your historic night without the long drive home? Overnight parking is available for campers, RVs, and vans in the White Salmon and Heather Meadows lots. Space is limited and reservations are required, so be sure to book your spot ahead of time (and remember: no tent camping allowed!). —Noa Nichol
