The May Wellness (+ Miracles) Guide!

April 29, 2026

Lifestyle & Parenting

As we move into May, there’s a noticeable shift in the air. With the energy of Taurus season grounding us into what’s real and lasting, there’s also a quiet invitation to reconnect with our own power. After years of external noise and distraction, many are feeling the pull back to something more intentional, more connected, and more supported.

Community is a big part of that return. The kinds of experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways tend to open doors that don’t always appear when we’re going it alone. If you’ve been craving connection, clarity, or new momentum, this month’s wellness lineup has got you!

For connection, intuition and new perspectives

If you’re opening to new levels of financial abundance, we love this free guided process by Australian mentor Jenna Black, and have heard so many great things about business mentor, Heather White, who’s offering a ‘claim it!’ intention setting party at Conscious Lab May 2

If you’re curious about expanding your intuitive world, there are a couple of unique online experiences to explore.

On May 3, animal communicator Neave Kargar is hosting a workshop on how to connect and communicate with animals – a playful but surprisingly profound way to deepen your awareness and relationship to the natural world.

On May 9, astrologer and channel Andi Javor offers a live group reading where you can bring your questions and receive intuitive guidance in real time. For those navigating big decisions or transitions, this is powerful space to feel seen and supported.

For women, creativity and community

On May 7, the inspiring crew over at YVR Creatives are hosting Motherhood Summit in Vancouver, an evening of connection and celebration for women who are building, nurturing and ready to expand without sacrificing themselves. YVR Creatives is known to be an exceptionally supportive community and they also offer monthly creative meetups.

On May 15-18 join somatic guide Carla Dawes for a lakeside Okanagan Women’s Retreat offering embodiment practices, adventure, lakeside saunas (so gorgeous) and time in nature.

For those in leadership looking for a networking experience unline any other, On May 21, join Lisa van Reeuwyk and Lynn Mosely for The Gathering at Riverhaven Farm in Pitt Meadows. In the presence of the horses, these events are for powerful women in leadership roles.

And if you’re a mom of a child with special needs, we want to point you to Starr Muranko’s community for mothers of children with Down Syndrome, which has been called a lifeline for many.

If you need to rest and reset

If your body is asking for a reset, on May 18, Faye Mallet leads a crystal sound bath at the new ZenDen in Vancouver, offering a deeply restorative evening focused on relaxation and energetic balance.

We’ve heard such great things about Martine Kleissen’s energy healing sessions, which help recalibrate the nervous system and come back into energetic wholeness.

The king of nervous system support is undoubtedly Dr. Sukhi in West Van, who offers nervous system sessions that will completely shift your state of being. Highly recommend.

And if you happen to be in Seattle on May 24, Wild Haus is hosting a floating sauna experience that combines nature, breathwork, and community in a way that feels both energizing and grounding.

As May unfolds, there’s an opportunity to step into something new, the energy of miracles! Whether that’s a fresh perspective, a deeper connection, or a more supported way of moving through the world. According to this May Astrology Forecast by Lila Sofiyah, it’s often more simple than we think: Notice what you’re ready to shift, and what kind of support might help you get there.

It’s always refreshing to see practical and inspiring ideas for better living. One thing that stood out to me recently in the wellness space is how much importance is being placed on simple, consistent lifestyle habits rather than quick fixes. I also came across https://starshep.com/locations/east-providence-ri which ties into that idea of creating supportive environments for overall well-being.
