Vancouver’s luxury shopping scene just welcomed another major fashion house.
Prada has officially opened the doors to its newest Canadian boutique at Oakridge Park, further cementing the highly anticipated development as the city’s new destination for elevated style. The 7,000-square-foot space is the Italian label’s latest expression of modern luxury, blending the brand’s iconic heritage with a fresh retail concept that makes its Canadian debut.
The boutique’s striking exterior features a luminous façade wrapped in Prada’s signature triangular motif, inspired by the House’s instantly recognizable logo. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a glimpse into the beautifully designed interior, where visitors are welcomed by one of Prada’s most enduring design signatures: the black-and-white checkered marble floor, a nod to the original Prada boutique inside Milan’s historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Soft pastel green accents complete the unmistakably Prada atmosphere.
Inside, shoppers will discover the full world of Prada, including men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear, and accessories. The boutique also features an exclusive private suite dedicated to the House’s exquisite Prada Eternal Gold fine jewellery collection.
For summer, the women’s assortment spotlights pieces from the new Days of Summer 2026 collection, where classic silhouettes are reimagined with relaxed proportions and effortless styling. Think airy camisoles, sundresses trimmed with delicate lace, softly structured jackets, and coveted handbags including the Prada Route, Bonnie, and the iconic Galleria.
The men’s collection embraces a similarly easy sophistication, pairing tailored essentials with workwear-inspired layers and contemporary proportions. Signature leather goods and the versatile Court Sneaker round out a wardrobe designed for modern summer dressing.
With Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Ferragamo, and now Prada all calling Oakridge Park home, Vancouver’s luxury landscape continues to evolve—and fashion lovers officially have another must-visit destination to add to their list. —Noa Nichol
