Though you’d expect Cafe Mosaics to occupy an airy, light-filled space next to, say, a yoga studio on Ibiza, this little gem is, in fact, perched at the edge of Edmonton’s university district on Whyte Avenue.
Having served up tasty all-vegetarian fare to a faithful clientele for the last 20-plus years, the cafe’s recent face lift’s given it a more uptown feel and extra wiggle room. Swing by for squeezed-fresh-in-house juices, including such healthy "cocktails" as mango ginger margaritas and cucumber mojitos. On the menu: $10 appetizers and grazing items and $15 mains.
