Fresh from this year’s sensational #LDBeauty event, where we met with a huge roster of brands available at London Drugs (in store and online), here are five products that had our shadowed eyes popping, our feathered brows rising and our glossed mouths asking for more! —Noa Nichol
shiseido blush. This stuff must be touched to be believed. Using something truly breakthrough called AirFusion Technology, the mousse-like texture of Minimalist Whipped Powder Blush transforms into an ultra-thin, featherweight powder with a soft matte finish that lasts eight hours (and available in eight vivid shades, to boot).
neostrata peels. Still super-science-driven, one of our favourite skin-care lines is reinventing itself to be more consumer friendly than ever before (think a range that’s organized, categorized and packaged according to skin type). Best of all, the launch of a range of at-home peels, perfect for every skin type and concern.
lancôme gloss. A longtime staple in our beauty arsenal, we were delighted to connect with the ladies at Lancôme—though sad to discover the discontinuation of our favourite Juicy Tubes. Luckily, a replacement product is available: L’Absolu Gloss is vitamin enriched and comes in 29 shades and three finishes for lips that look instantly refreshed, hydrated and plumped.
covergirl foundation. Beyond the introduction of its expanded range of TruBlend foundation (in an incredible 40 shades), we perked up at the decidedly delicious news of chocolate- and peach-scented highlighters, bronzers, contour palettes and eye shadow palettes. Good enough to eat? We think so!
clinique hydrator. New from this lovely brand: Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly is an unbelievably lightweight, water-jelly that delivers 24-hour hydration repair plus pollution protection by locking in the good and filtering our the bad (sticky looking, but totally not). Yes, this is one jelly we’re definitely ready for!
