Hi Joshua! Tell us a little bit about you and what do you do!

I’m a freelance creative who specializes in lifestyle and travel writing, digital marketing, content creation, styling and photography.

How do you use your platform to influence others (including parents)?

I try and having a dose of inspiration through travel, dining and fashion can embolden them to step outside of their identification. I also make sure to use a lot of dad jokes and puns.

What’s your personal style mantra?

For me I dress quite differently day to day depending on my mood and what I have going on. I believe that personal style is just that—personal—so wear something that makes you happy and makes you feel authentically you.

Father’s Day is coming up, and dads have a reputation of being “difficult to buy for”; do you think this is true and what sort of gift do you think most men could or would really appreciate (or, do you have some advice when it comes to getting gifts for guys)?

After doing a major “Marie Kondo” on my condo, I’ve decided to gift experiences instead of things. Your dad/boyfriend/brother/male friend may enjoy a new sweater, but imagine the memories you’ll have from dancing at a show and screaming off-key lyrics into each others ears?

What will you be getting/doing for your dad for Father’s Day?

I will call him on Facetime because he lives in Mexico, and I don’t get the chance to see him face to face that often. I’m hoping to make a trip down there to see him in the fall.
