Late May, and our thoughts are eagerly turning to summer—and by that we mean copious amounts of quality time spent playing, relaxing and entertaining on our patio. Unfortunately, winter left the space a little worse for wear; luckily, we’ve got OxiClean to help whip our outdoor furnishings into warm-weather shape.
Getting dirt and stains out of patio furniture with OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover is easy—and, when you refer to the packaging for directions (and the website for helpful tips), it’s pretty much a sure thing. For water-washable upholstery, all it takes is a quick mix with water, application with a cloth, sponge or brush (or simply pour the solution directly onto the surface) and let stand five to 30 minutes. Scrub, rinse and voila! This stuff can also refresh a seen-better-days area rug for outdoor use: test first, then apply enough solution to saturate each stain and, before it dries, blot with white towel. Rinse with clean water, blot again till dry and unroll for a red-carpet-ready patio.
