My mom and dad gave me mortgage money to cover off my mortgage while I managed through a full nervous breakdown. As the sole homeowner single person it was scary to have to deal with treatment for suicidal depression if I couldn’t afford to live in my little condo and feed my cats. My parents are not well off but they knew this would go miles to my recovery. And 2 yrs later I was back at work and bought a new house etc. The greatest gift I guess was my parents.
