Hi Rachelle! Please tell us a bit about yourself to start.

I am a cosmetic chemist holding a master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, specializing in the development of cosmetic active ingredients. We proved the efficacy of our system during a supervised study by dermatologists in collaboration with the National Council of research of Canada, showing results in less than 28 days on multiple skin issues. I firmly believe in the power of made-to-order personalized skincare. When and why did you launch Omy? What niche were/are you aiming to fill?

Andrea and I launched Omy Lab. in 2018 during our masters’ program. a) Personalized: With our personalized cream and serum, you have the opportunity to select multiple ingredients that specifically target all your skin concerns. The combination of these choices allows for thousands of possible formula variations. The refill is crafted from recycled plastic and is fully recyclable. To further enhance sustainability, we designed our reusable bottle and pump to be fully recyclable by eliminating the metal spring commonly found in most pumps.
