Meet Brahmi Skincare Whistler: Luxury, Ayurveda & Conscious Beauty (Win!)

Hi Lily! Please tell us a bit about yourself to start.

I’ve been immersed in the beauty industry for over a decade, specializing in my unique Cosmetic Energy Healing facials. This signature treatment blends energy healing with a soothing massage, designed to revitalize both the skin and the underlying cells.

My journey into clean beauty began over three decades ago, driven by my struggle with eczema during my youth. This early experience led me to explore cruelty-free products and adopt a vegetarian lifestyle as a teenager.

Throughout my life, I battled with self-image, haunted by the echoes of my narcissistic mother’s voice. It wasn’t until my mid-30s that I began to perceive myself as average, and not until my early 40s did I truly embrace my own beauty. This personal journey birthed Brahmi’s beauty philosophy: “Beauty is falling in love with yourself.”

Since the age of 16, I’ve embarked on a profound spiritual journey, which inspired me to merge beauty and spirituality into my practice.

When and why did you launch Brahmi? What niche were/are you aiming to fill?

Brahmi is a brand-new skincare line that I created to use with my Cosmetic Energy Healing® facials. I was using other products and couldn’t find one that met my high-quality organic and natural needs, plus came in sustainable glass jars.

Brahmi merges spirituality with beauty. Many people who gravitate towards me are looking for a holistic way to look younger and feel radiant. Some people who have come for facials with me have similar relationships with their beauty like I did. The energy healing has helped them transform their hearts so that they can see themselves clearer. They receive benefits of smoother-looking skin and a lightness in their being. The niche I am aiming to fill is looking at skincare and beauty from the perspective of the body, mind, and soul.

What products/services do you currently offer, and what makes them unique?

Brahmi Skincare: Brahmi’s signature line, Divine Rose consists of 4 thoughtfully curated products for the skin and face. We have a Divine Rose face serum, face cream, lip plumping balm and 11:11 Magic Balm. The magic balm is unique as it makes the wrinkles on the 11 lines between your forehead look smoother while awakening your intuition plus connecting you to your angels.

The products are all vegan, natural, organic, come in sustainable glass jars plus are made in Canada. We don’t use harmful chemicals nor synthetic fragrances, instead we use fair trade essential oils. What makes Brahmi skincare unique is that they are infused with my signature Cosmetic Energy Healing®. This adds an extra layer of energy that works synergistically with the physical properties in the skincare.

Cosmetic Energy Healing® facials: I developed my signature Cosmetic Energy Healing® facials in 2013 and I believe that I am one of the only people in the world doing this type of facial. I use energy healing with a healing touch massage to rejuvenate the skin and cells using a variety of energy healing techniques including chakra, soul, cellular, past life healing and more.

Beauty meditations: I created beauty meditations that pair with Brahmi skincare products that you can download and listen to on your phone. The meditations come with five fifteen minute guided meditations for: glowing skin – gives you smoother younger looking radiant glowing skin , lip plumping- plumps lips, beauty, self love – opens your heart and the 11:11 meditation – awakens your third eye and smooths wrinkles between your forehead. As part of Brahmi’s spiritual skincare routine, listen to a guided meditation daily after you apply your skincare products. 

Where do you source your ingredients? And, what inspires your work/offering?

Brahmi was inspired by my Indian heritage and focuses on ingredients and essential oils that originate from India. My parents are from Fiji and our ancestors left India in the 1800s. I have traveled to India about a dozen times for spiritual reasons and to meditate in holy places. As a first generation Canadian, I find the smells of India intoxicating. I wanted to create a skincare line that honors the beautiful country that my ancestors came from. In India spirituality is a thread of everyday life. This inspired me to create a skincare line that merges beauty with spirituality.

My struggles with beauty are a big inspiration for my work. This is why Brahmi’s beauty philosophy is “Beauty is falling in love with yourself”. I know what it feels like to feel ugly and not seen by the world. Beauty stems from your relationship with yourself and self love. This is a message that I carry very dear in my heart.

Luxury, vegan, clean … for you, what does this mix of adjectives mean when it comes to beauty/skincare products? And, why are all three (luxury, vegan, clean) important?

Luxury, vegan and clean represents a quality product that you can count on. A skincare line that is made with high quality natural and organic ingredients without fillers that focuses on functional ingredients. Plant based products that utilize nature’s medicine and are cruelty free. Made without harmful chemicals and is kind to your skin and the earth. All three are important because I don’t feel that we should sacrifice our skincare needs and values for beauty. It is possible to have both a quality beauty product that is aligned with your lifestyle needs.

How do you blend ayurvedic traditions, spiritual wellness and conscious beauty into your products?

Brahmi is the feminine version of Brahma, the hindu god that created the universe. Brahmi signifies that you create your reality. Brahmi takes an everyday routine and creates a spiritual ritual and a moment of mindfulness. Our guided beauty meditations set the tone for the day and bring more magic into your life.

Each product is infused with my signature Cosmetic Energy Healing®. I have a beautiful ritual where I meditate with the products, infuse them with sacred Vedic chanting and Cosmetic Energy Healing®. When I receive orders, I infuse each product with a special intention so that you can manifest your beauty. I then place it on a sacred altar for an additional blessing before I send it to you. 

Who is Brahmi skincare for?

Brahmi skincare is formulated for daily use for all skin types. Our hydrating formulas are especially great for those with dry skin. We use natural and organic ingredients making it suitable for those with allergies and/or sensitive skin. For those who love to ski and/or snowboard, Brahmi’s ultra hydrating formula is an excellent base layer for your skin before you head up the mountain for alpine sports.

If you were stuck on a deserted island, and could only have one Brahmi product with you, what would it be and why?

I can’t live without Brahmi’s Divine Rose Face Cream. When I apply it to my face, it instantly hydrates and gives me a radiant divine glow. It smells so amazing and feels silky on my skin. I even massage it into my hands and feet when they need some tlc.
