This is your second home décor and kitchenware collaboration with Walmart Canada! What inspired this new spring collection, and how does it build upon your previous holiday line?

Spring always feels like a deep exhale—that first warm breeze through an open window, the scent of fresh flowers on the table, the joy of gathering with friends after a long winter. I wanted to bottle up that feeling and bring it into this collection.

Growing up, my mom, an artist, always found little ways to make everyday moments feel special—fresh-cut lilacs on the kitchen table, a gingham tablecloth at Sunday brunch—small details that made our home feel warm and inviting. That’s exactly what I wanted to bring into this collection—pieces that make simple moments feel special, from the garden to the table.

This spring line builds on the timeless, French country feel of my holiday collection but with a lighter, everyday energy. The focus is on entertaining, simple joys, and refreshing our spaces for the season—without overspending.

Your collection beautifully blends simplicity with luxury. Can you walk us through the design process and how you chose the warm neutrals, terracotta finishes, and earthen effects?

It’s wonderful when you truly understand your style and what lights you up. I draw so much inspiration from the French countryside, and this collection was no exception! I love designs that stand the test of time—elegance with a sense of ease.

The warm neutrals and terracotta finishes bring both sophistication and a relaxed, natural feel to a space. The rustic charm of terracotta is grounded and earthy, yet timeless. The soft pastels in the collection, like the delicate gingham, add a sense of playfulness and joy while creating a calming effect.

Every detail is designed to make your home feel fresh, welcoming, and filled with a touch of classic French country charm—whether you’re hosting a spring brunch, enjoying a quiet morning coffee, or out in the garden.

With spring being a time of renewal, how do you envision these pieces helping Canadians refresh their homes for the season?

Spring isn’t just a season—it’s a feeling! There’s a reason we feel lighter in the spring. Studies show that increased sunlight boosts serotonin, which can elevate happiness levels. When your home reflects your style and makes you feel comfortable, it becomes a nurturing space.

I wanted this collection to make it simple for people to bring that fresh spring feeling into their homes—giving them that deep exhale moment every time they walk through the door.

You don’t need to completely overhaul your home—sometimes, a simple touch like a new set of dinner plates, a planter with potted roses, or a beautiful watering can can bring the season inside.

Gardening is a big theme in this collection. What are some of your must-have pieces for creating a cozy and stylish outdoor space?

Gardening is one of the most underrated forms of self-care. I love grabbing a cup of tea, my gardening tools, and getting my hands dirty.

If you have a smaller space or love the look of potted plants, the Terracotta Planter Pot adds incredible charm and warmth to any outdoor space—it even has ruffles! Walmart Canada has a strong track record of bringing Canadians quality products at affordable prices. Paired with my design vision, we created a stunning collection of home decor with great value.

I worked closely with the team to ensure that every piece—whether it’s a planter, rug, or dinner plate—captured that timeless aesthetic and was made with quality materials while remaining affordable. These pieces look high-end but are priced so that everyone can bring a little luxury into their homes.

What are some of your personal favorite items in the collection, and how do you plan to incorporate them into your own home?

Choosing a favorite feels like picking a favorite child, but a few pieces make my heart skip a beat!

Every home needs one piece of greenery—even if you don’t have a green thumb. That’s why I love the Faux Topiary. It instantly warms up a space without the stress of upkeep. I love the nod to French design, and it’s also the perfect hostess gift—way better than another bottle of wine! I have them on my kitchen island, by the sink, and on my outdoor coffee table alongside the ruffled planters for a showstopping centerpiece.

For the kitchen, the ruffled baking dishes remind me of baking with my grandma. Even a simple banana bread feels like a special occasion in this dish. And how lovely would it be to bring a fresh-baked banana bread in one of these as a gift?

Entertaining should be fun, not stressful! The best way to keep things relaxed? Be prepared. Make as much ahead of time as possible and create a simple work-back schedule.

It’s always nice to greet guests with a drink and a small bite—it gives them something to do while settling in. I love the smoky stemware in the collection; both the wine glasses and coupes look incredibly sophisticated. A small cheese board is also a lovely addition, and the one in our collection has an adorable heart on it—such a great gift if you’re the guest.

For food, stick to simple, fresh ingredients—prep-ahead salads, baked dishes that cook while you visit, and make-ahead desserts.

For the table, think about textures and layers: a gingham tablecloth, a rattan charger, ruffled dinnerware, and a centerpiece with height like the Faux Topiary. Even if you don’t have a green thumb, it brings a natural warmth to the space.
