Fifty years of cinematic magic deserves nothing less than champagne. To mark the Toronto International Film Festival’s golden milestone, Moët & Chandon is turning up the sparkle on a beloved red-carpet tradition—introducing a dazzling 12L Balthazar in place of its signature 9L bottle.
The larger-than-life bottle will be autographed by leading stars throughout the festival, transforming it into both a showpiece and a symbol of giving back. Canadian favourite Ryan Reynolds was among the first to sign, joined by Colin Hanks, Barbie Ferreira, Stellan Skarsgård, Shailene Woodley and more, all lending their star power to the cause.
The signed Balthazar will later be auctioned, with proceeds benefitting TIFF’s Transform Together campaign. Launched in honour of the festival’s 50th anniversary, the initiative invests in the future of film—supporting emerging talent, strengthening community ties, and ensuring TIFF remains a global cultural force for decades to come.
By raising funds, the campaign expands TIFF’s ability to showcase groundbreaking stories, nurture the next generation of filmmakers, and connect audiences to diverse voices in film. In the words of Moët & Chandon, it’s a toast not just to 50 years of cinematic excellence, but to the bright, bold future of storytelling still to come. —Vita Daily
