Valentine’s Day doesn’t always need hearts and clichés—sometimes it’s better expressed through exquisite detail, thoughtful symbolism, and impeccable design. Enter Dior, which has unveiled a poetic selection of pieces designed by Jonathan Anderson to mark the occasion. The result? Objects of desire that feel less like gifts and more like tender declarations.
Echoing the spirit of the Spring–Summer 2026 ready-to-wear collection, the edit celebrates love through original motifs that nod to Dior’s heritage while feeling unmistakably modern. One of the standout stories is the Revolution Flowers print, inspired by an 18th-century emblem. Delicately floral and romantic without being saccharine, the motif blooms across iconic silhouettes like the Dior Book Tote, Saddle, and Lady Dior—each finished with charming “D, I, O, R” letter charms. Coordinating small leather goods complete the story, making it easy to lean all the way in.
Silk accessories also take centre stage. Scarves and Mitzahs are dressed in these refined floral designs, rendered in soft shades of blue and pink—a subtle homage to French textile artistry and Dior’s enduring love of craftsmanship.
Adding another layer of romance, the Doves & Roses sketches draw inspiration from the House’s 1956 Pastorale dress. Here, plumetis details form roses and doves, delicately embroidered onto a crisp white Lady Dior and a powdery blue Lady D-Joy. The effect is quietly breathtaking—nostalgic yet fresh, romantic without feeling costume-y.
Even Dior’s jewellery and footwear join the love story. Tribales earrings and the Saltwind sneakers are adorned with bucolic details, proving that romance can live just as comfortably in everyday pieces as it does in showstoppers.
Rounding out the edit is the Floral Heart motif, blooming across silk squares like a poetic garden, while the House’s emblematic Medallion blushes pink on the Dior Book Tote. The Saddle bag’s signature bow follows suit, softened with a rosy flush that feels perfectly timed for February.
This Valentine’s Day, Dior reminds us that love—like fashion—is at its most powerful when it’s thoughtful, beautifully made, and meant to last. —Noa Nichol
