THE HAT HAS IT

October 24, 2007

Now that theres a nip in the air, were searching for something pretty to
keep our head warm.

Find inspiration at the Musée
du costume et du textile
on the South Shore. Its latest exhibit
showcases the talent of one of Québecs most talented milliners, Lucie
Grégoire.

Happy Head is a selection of some of her finest hats made from flax,
wicker, leather and feather. And she never sketches her designs in
advance, so each chapeau is an original bit of whimsy.

Order your own Lucie Grégoire cloche at her East End atélier. Or sign up
for one of her hat making workshops.

Now if we could just find a cure for hat head
