We’ve anxiously (and hungrily) awaited the opening of Simmons since last year’s announcement that this East Village historical building would be home to Charbar, Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters and Sidewalk Citizen Bakery.
Finally, we can all enjoy this slick industrial space, boasting an amazing rooftop patio that’s all views (city and river) and amazing food from local suppliers. Argentina-inspired Charbar thrills with inspired dishes like ceviche and signature cocktails (try the Simmons Slushy), Phil & Sebastian’s coffee may taste even better served from its chic new space and the sandwiches at Sidewalk are worth the trip alone.
