We’re Falling for FIGO

February 16, 2016

We didn’t think this city needed yet another Italian restaurant.

But then we ate at FIGO and became believers. In the heart of the Entertainment District finally we can score not just good food but incredible Italian fare in a beautiful, natural light-filled space (just take a peek at the gorgeous archway into the open kitchen, for one). Named after the word “cool” in Italian, the restaurant is filled regularly with stylish thirtysomethings nibbling on the to-die-for dishes such as the zucchini fritti that’s served with lemon crema fresca and honey that’s got the city’s foodies all abuzz and sweet and spicy pizza pie topped with sopressata, preserved tomato, mozzarella, olives and honey.

Sometimes having lots of choices can be wonderful. — Karen Kwan
