In your words, how does a crisp shirt bring so much power to someone’s wardrobe?

A white shirt is one of the most essential pieces and a key building block of a wardrobe. It is modern, crisp, and clean. It is a simple but powerful piece that signals that one “means business”.

Your collection has inspired so many women to embrace and harness their inherent strength. What does that mean to you?

I am truly flattered that women from all over North America are fans of the brand and the best compliments come from women that still wear the pieces they invested in and call their favourite.

Can you tell us more about the technology behind your Smart Shirts?

The smart shirt is a utility poplin shirt.  I am tough on my clothes and designed the perfect travel shirt.  A slight A-line with a grosgrain placket side detail, this is the perfect shirt for any occasion the day may bring.

You started Pink Tartan over two decades ago.  How does it feel to now have your daughter, who is in her early 20s, working closely alongside you?

I started Pink Tartan when Jacqueline turned 1 year.  I am truly lucky to spend time and help mentor my greatest gift in life.  She is a whiz in digital and balances my talents.
