Canada’s most adventurous whisky brand is back with a bold new expression: BEARFACE Wild Air. The third release in the brand’s acclaimed Wilderness Series, this limited-edition whisky captures the crisp, invigorating feeling of standing on a mountaintop with the wind on your face and the vast Canadian wilderness below.

Inspired by a high-altitude hike through the North, Master Blender Andres Faustinelli set out to recreate that moment of awe in a glass. The result? A unique blend aged using BEARFACE’s signature Elemental Aging process—think Hungarian oak casks, birch bark–infused ex-Viognier barrels, and maple syrup brûlée casks proofed with fresh maple tree water. With notes of fresh botanicals, mineral sweetness, and a lightly smoky finish, Wild Air is both an escape and an invitation.

Heights & Hikes Highball (aka Post-Hike Highball)

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz BEARFACE Wild Air
• 0.5 oz Rooibos tea syrup (equal parts strong tea + sugar)
• 0.5 oz Peach syrup (equal parts unsweetened peach juice + sugar)
• Wedge of lemon, squeezed
• 1.5 oz soda water or sparkling mineral water
• Ice
• Optional garnish: dried Ginestra flower or a foraged herb

Method:
Combine all ingredients in a tall glass over ice. Stir gently with a bar spoon. Garnish as desired and enjoy the taste of the wild.
