Whatever lessons you’ve gathered in 2025, this month calls you to clear space for what’s next. If you’re noticing the urge to hibernate, reinvent yourself, and finish everything on your to-do list from the last 10 years, good news! The stars support you, according to the December Astrology Forecast from astrologer Lila Sofiyah, who explains that we are officially in Sagittarius season, which brings with it an expansive energy that can activate the highest possibilities for our future and for the world.
Here is a selection of curated experiences to support you in completing 2025 the way you’d like to begin the year ahead.
For a nervous system tune up, we highly recommend the therapeutic sound sessions with Faye Mallett at Aestra Counselling in Vancouver. They’re phenomenal. You can also find her regularly offering heated soundbaths at Jaybird.
If you’re curious to explore your own gifts as an intuitive or healer, a guided spirit session with Corrina Choe might be the perfect gift to yourself this month. Corrina’s a master at helping practitioners embody the next version of their intuitive gifts.
If you’re ready to get down with your deeper femininity, on Tuesday December 9, join Martine Kleissen, Jen Newman, and Genvieve Dowling for this online intuitive dance, breathwork & energy class.
At this time of year, many of us feel frazzled. This group soul retrieval on December 9 led by Carol Mortarotti invites you to reclaim your wholeness, and integrate parts of yourself that feel like they’ve been left behind lately. If you’re craving a deeper sense of integration in your life, these sessions support a return to wholeness.
On December 11, this online breathwork class invites you to give your body a chance to let go of all that you’ve been carrying this month (and year!) and come back to your most true and clear state of being. And, if you’re looking for space to practice breathwork regularly and in community, get on the waitlist for Monica’s community breathwork series in Port Moody.
Later this month, we’ll be entering the Winter Solstice portal. This is a time to question: What can I learn from stillness, from this time of the ‘sacred dark’?
Since ancient times, the solstice season has been revered as a time for ceremony. If you’re curious to explore an indigenous approach, join Andean teacher, Jhaimy Alvarez on December 19th for this one-hour online gathering that invites you to walk through the solstice portal into the next season with the support of Andean indigenous teachings.
Another virtual Winter Solstice Ceremony on December 21 with Amber Tande invites you to remember your eternal nature & reconnect with your inner light – the perfect pre-Christmas alignment session.
If you’re on the Sunshine Coast, this Return to Reverence solstice event at High Beam Dreams hosted by Dana Wilson, Tenaya Sat Nam, Tiffany Pasch, and Laura Walker invites you into a gentle solstice sound journey, weaving harp, gong, tuning forks, and crystal bowls with mindful breathwork and guided meditation.
For a longer ceremonial exploration, join shamanic healer Angela Prider’s annual Winter Solstice Retreat Dec 19-21 on Bowen Island – somatic and spiritual reset wrapped in community and ceremony. Includes a fire ceremony, cacao, sound baths, and earth-based rituals.
For deeper somatic support this season, we highly recommend private somatic sessions with Zoey Sky for deep nervous system repatterning work, or the private nervous system sessions with West-Vancouver based Dr. Sukhi.
Go easy through December, friends. Give yourself what you need to cultivate the state of being that will make this season beautiful, and help set the tone for the year to come.

This is such a beautiful December guide, I love the idea of ending the year with softer rituals instead of the usual rush to squeeze in last-minute goals. The focus on slowing down, grounding habits, and making space for reflection really resonates. December always feels like an emotional reset button, and these wellness ideas capture that perfectly.
It actually reminded me of a project I wrapped up around this time last year. I was helping a client run Google Ads for Boating Industry campaigns, and even though the work was interesting, the pace was nonstop. By the time December rolled in, I realized I hadn’t taken a breath in months. That was the moment I started building small wellness rituals into my evenings — journaling, stretching, and letting myself disconnect from the noise.
Your post brings back that feeling of slowing down with intention. A lovely reminder that the way we end the year shapes how we begin the next.
