Dining & Wine

Move over, espresso bars—the Crocodile has officially landed in the world of gourmet hospitality. On February 5, 2026, Lacoste inaugurated its very first Café Lacoste in the heart of Paris. Located on the prestigious Avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt, just steps from the brand’s flagship store, this new “living space” is the ultimate intersection of French style, sport, and contemporary dining.

Developed in partnership with the Giraudi Group, the café transforms Lacoste’s iconic aesthetic into a delicious all-day experience. Here is why it’s already the chicest pit stop in the 8th Arrondissement.

The Vibe: Courtside Chic

Spanning 100 square metres with 65 seats, the interior is a masterclass in brand heritage. Expect a warm, elegant atmosphere featuring:

  • Iconic Codes: Deep green and off-white tones paired with touches of terracotta.
  • Design Details: Noble materials and tennis-inspired lines that echo the Maison’s 1933 sporting roots.

On the Menu: “L’Eau de Croco” and More

Under the direction of chef Thierry Paludetto, the menu reimagines classic favorites with a creative twist.

  • Signature Sips: Don’t miss the L’Eau de Croco, a refreshing blend of coconut water, matcha, and ginger. For latte lovers, there are pistachio, vanilla, and chai options featuring artisan-roasted specialty coffees.
  • The “Iconic Polo”: The star of the dessert menu is a polo-shaped treat designed to be shared, photographed, or taken away.
  • Savory Classics: The kitchen serves up precision-perfect club sandwiches, fresh salads, and seasonal dishes.

More Than Just a Café

If you want to take a piece of the experience home, the space includes a concept store. You can snag exclusive products ranging from fine food items and French porcelain tableware stamped with the Lacoste name to a dedicated textile collection.

Plan your visit: Café Lacoste is open Monday to Saturday, from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm. They don’t take reservations, so feel free to swing by for a dine-in moment or grab your “Croco” coffee to go. —Noa Nichol
