This one’s for all the Disney kids and dark romance lovers. If you’ve ever thought Disneyland Resort’s Haunted Mansion attraction would make a dream wedding venue the team at Disney Fairytale Weddings & Honeymoons just dropped some huge news. Beginning this summer, you can say ‘I do’ on the grounds of the eerie estate.
This year marks 71 years since Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955. The Haunted Mansion was not an original fixture of the park; it was added in 1969, and to this day endures as one of the park’s most iconic and beloved attractions. The Haunted Mansion recently underwent an extensive rehab and refurbishment which saw the attraction close its doors for more than six months. It reopened in January 2025 with every beloved detail remaining intact, save the addition of a few additional cobwebs.
Situated in the middle of the park, just steps from a Disneyland Railroad stop, the Haunted Mansion boasts a striking exterior inspired by a 19th century Victorian mansion. For couple’s wanting a destination wedding that’s absolutely unlike another, this is the ultimate venue choice.
“Couples today are looking for a destination wedding venue with unique storytelling so that it reflects their passions and interests,” shares Korri McFann, marketing director for Disney’s Fairytale Weddings & Honeymoons. “Haunted Manion has always been a fan favourite, and we’re delighted to bring their dream wedding to life!”
Does this mean you are hopping in a Haunted Mansion doom buggy inside the ride to say, ‘I do’ alongside the 999 ‘happy haunts’ that call the place home? Not quite…. but we do love that idea.
Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion weddings will take place steps from the front door in the Haunted Mansion Courtyard. Weddings will be a morning event held before the park opens—being alone in Disneyland is a dream day unto itself. Ceremonies can accommodate up to 25 guests, inclusive of the couple, and you have two-hours on site to celebrate.
The cost for a Haunted Mansion wedding starts at $25,000 USD and ranges up to $40,000 USD depending on the day selected for the event. What’s included in this wedding package? According to Disney Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons: a dedicated officiant, light décor, photography, and transportation to and from a Disneyland Resort hotel. The Haunted Mansion is available now to book for weddings in July 2026 and onwards.
