Fashion flashback, but make it now. H&M is teaming up once again with Stella McCartney—and this time, it’s a full-circle moment. Launching May 7, the new collection celebrates 20 years since their very first (and iconic) collaboration, blending nostalgia with everything we love about Stella today.
Think of it as a greatest hits album—but wearable. The collection pulls from McCartney’s archives and reimagines them with modern signatures: oversized shirting, sweeping trenches, sharp tailoring, and playful, statement-making prints. There’s sparkle, there’s structure, and yes, there’s a little bit of fashion drama (in the best way).
“I see this collection as a journey through my fashion history,” McCartney shares. “It’s playful, strong, sparkling, joyful, refined.”
Standout pieces? Ribbed knits with the signature Falabella chain detail, a dreamy white gown with sculptural, cape-like movement, and bold cherry-print mesh that feels equal parts throwback and totally current. Accessories are just as strong, with six bag styles—from sleek shoulder bags to oversized totes—plus chain-detailed jewellery and loafers that lean into that signature Stella edge.
Even better: the collection stays true to McCartney’s sustainability ethos, with recycled materials, organic cotton, and innovative fabric sourcing woven throughout.
Fronted by a cool-girl cast including Renee Rapp and Adwoa Aboah, the campaign leans into connection, individuality, and that unmistakable Stella spirit.
