New York Bridal Fashion Week happens twice a year—in April and October—and is regarded as the grand finale of biannual global fashion events. As ever, the latest drop of designer collections was totally dreamy and more style-forward than ever. The bride vibe for the year ahead very much taps into the idea of ‘something old, something new’ with designers digging into mixing sleek, modern design details with nostalgic, old-world touches like hand crafted embellishments vintage fabrications.
Canadian bridal designers are some of the best in the world. For Spring 2027 the delivered some of the most iconic looks of the season. The styles making headlines? Voluminous ball gowns, mermaid dresses, sleek column gowns, architectural silhouettes and loads of lace.
Here’s a look at some of our favourite looks from five homegrown talents to consider for your big day. There’s never been a better time to support Canadian fashion! —Alison McGill

A true visionary of wedding style, a dress from Ines Di Santo is the dream for many brides. Di Santo’s couture collection of gowns is always jaw dropping and incredibly artistic, and this season’s collection was especially magical brimming with artful lace ballgowns, dramatic mermaid dresses (a Di Santo signature), and colour like dusky antique rose, ice blue and muted mauve.

V by Veronica Di Santo
Veronica Di Santo has spent years working alongside her mom as a managing partner in Ines Di Santo, but for the first time ever has dropped a bridal collection of her own. The V by Veronica Di Santo line is very much inspired by the mother brand with its luxury vibe, but the design philosophy behind the dresses was to create something more contemporary and refined, but no less artful.

OUMA Atelier
Vancouver designer Ou Ma continues to wow us with her ethereal, otherworldly designs and her latest lineup continues that romantic narrative. The Alluvia collection is inspired by the sweeping, layered landscapes of Danxia in China and we love the airy textures and sweeping silhouettes—from ballgowns, minis and columns gowns—of this OUMA Atelier collection.

Check out the top trends from Canada’s Spring 2027 bridal collections, showcasing the best in modern and romantic wedding fashion.
After a disappointing experience with a local vendor, I switched to Tripura Stones and the difference was clear from day one. Their packaging, edge finishing, and color accuracy were on point. Midway through my research I realized a trusted Indian Granite Supplier in India can actually save both time and rework costs. What I liked most was their responsiveness; they didn’t just sell, they guided. Even my contractor noticed the quality upgrade. If you’re tired of inconsistent granite supplies, these guys are a solid choice.
