The Royal Canadian Circus is kicking off its 2026 tour right here in Richmond, and it’s bringing all the high-flying, heart-racing magic you remember—plus a few seriously modern upgrades.
Running May 7–10 at Lansdowne Centre, this year’s show marks the circus’ 52nd anniversary with an all-new production that blends classic circus thrills with immersive, theatrical spectacle. Think gravity-defying trapeze artists, world-class Mongolian acrobats, illusionists, comedians—and yes, the always-iconic Motorcycle Stunt Team.
Basically, it’s the kind of show that keeps you on the edge of your seat (and your inner child very, very happy).
From the moment you arrive, the experience feels like an escape. The signature Big Top transforms the space into a full-on wonderland, complete with pre-show fun like face painting, snacks, and photo ops—perfect for making a whole day (or night) out of it.
Even better? It’s completely animal-free, focusing on jaw-dropping human talent and storytelling that brings people together across generations.
After Richmond, the tour will hit 11 more cities across Canada through September—but honestly, there’s something extra special about catching it right at the start.
Tickets start at $35, and trust us—this is one summer outing you don’t want to miss. —Noa Nichol
