In what may be the most globally stacked concert lineup imaginable, Madonna, Shakira, and BTS have officially been announced as co-headliners for the first-ever FIFA World Cup™ Final Halftime Show, taking place July 19, 2026 at New York New Jersey Stadium.

The halftime show will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a major initiative aiming to raise $100 million to expand access to education and football programming for children worldwide. So far, the fund has already surpassed $30 million raised, with $1 from every FIFA World Cup 2026™ ticket sold contributing throughout the tournament.
The initiative—led alongside Global Citizen—will support organizations working in underserved communities across 10 countries, helping improve access to learning, sports, and long-term opportunity for children globally.
And with approximately 350 million children and adolescents currently out of school worldwide, the stakes behind the campaign are enormous.
Still, let’s be honest: the internet is currently far more focused on the fact that Madonna, Shakira, and BTS are somehow sharing the same halftime stage.
