Vancouver food lovers, clear your calendars: Time Out Market Vancouver officially opens May 28 at Oakridge Park, and the final culinary lineup may be one of the city’s most stacked dining rosters ever assembled under one roof.

Spanning more than 50,000 square feet, the highly anticipated market promises a greatest-hits collection of Vancouver’s food scene—from Michelin-recognized restaurants to cult-favourite comfort food spots, inventive desserts, cocktails, wine, DJs, and live cultural programming. Think less “food court,” more “all your hardest-to-book dinner reservations in one place.”

Among the newest additions? Ask for Luigi is bringing Pasta e Basta, an exclusive concept focused on handmade pasta classics like Cacio e Pepe and Rigatoni Bolognese. PiDGiN joins with modern Asian-French fusion dishes including Lobster Dan Dan Noodles and Foie Gras Rice Bowls, while Chinatown favourite Blnd Tger is bringing elevated dumplings and Shanghai-inspired street food energy to the market.

Also joining the lineup: beloved West End institution España with tapas, paella, and Spanish wine, plus Beaucoup Bakery, which is debuting an entirely new dessert concept exclusively for the market: Beaucoup Creamery Dessert Bar. Yes, this includes Butter Dip Soft Serve and Golden Fried French Toast inspired by kouign-amann pastry.

And that’s before you even get to the already-announced heavy hitters.

The market will also feature concepts from Rob Feenie, Vikram Vij, DownLow Chicken Shack, Lunch Lady, Via Tevere, Kishimoto Japanese Kitchen, and many more.

Beyond the food, Time Out Market Vancouver is leaning heavily into experience. Visitors can expect three bars spotlighting local breweries and Okanagan wines, zero-proof cocktails, live music, cooking demos, DJ sets, watch parties, family programming, and cultural events year-round.

In short: Vancouver’s group chats are about to become impossible. —Noa Nichol

Time Out Market Vancouver Opening sounds like an incredible addition to Vancouver’s food scene. Bringing together Michelin-recognized restaurants, local favorites, handmade pasta, fusion cuisine, and live entertainment under one roof makes it feel much more like a full culinary experience than a traditional food hall. I’ve also been exploring restaurant trends and food destination inspiration here
