This summer, Vancouver’s coffee culture is getting a stylish new address.
From July 23 to 26, Nespresso is transforming a Mount Pleasant space into The Coffee Room, a limited-time immersive pop-up designed to celebrate the ritual of coffee in all its forms. Think less café, more members-only social club, where beautifully crafted iced coffee, thoughtful design and creative inspiration come together under one roof.
The experience invites guests to explore a series of beautifully styled “coffee corners,” each offering a different aesthetic and approach to the daily coffee ritual. Created in collaboration with Canadian vintage curator Le Centerpiece, the shoppable spaces are filled with furniture, décor and styling ideas designed to inspire everything from your morning espresso moment to your afternoon iced latte break.
Of course, the coffee is the star.
Visitors can sip complimentary iced creations made with Nespresso’s limited-edition summer coffees, including the bright and citrusy Yuzu Vanilla Over Ice, alongside creamy drinks featuring Oatly Barista Blend. Whether you’re already an iced coffee devotee or looking to shake up your summer routine, expect refreshing recipes that showcase just how versatile home coffee can be.
Beyond the drinks, The Coffee Room will host a rotating lineup of community experiences throughout its four-day run. From creative workshops with local collaborators to community runs and other surprise activations, the programming is designed to bring people together over one shared love: great coffee.
The result is a space that feels equal parts design showroom, neighbourhood gathering place and coffee playground—proving that your daily cup can be about much more than caffeine.
If your summer plans include discovering Vancouver’s coolest pop-ups, this one deserves a spot at the top of your list. —Maddie Clerides
